28th Oct 2016 (Fri): Arrive Delhi
Late night arrival, we will be met by the tour representative in traditional Indian style at Delhi International airport who will escort us to our pre booked hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
29th Oct 2016 (Sat): Delhi sightseeing
After breakfast, we will be taken for a combined tour of Old and New Delhi. Start your day by covering New Delhi established by the British, who once ruled the country. Visit UNESCO heritage Qutab Minar – the tallest Persian God Temple City Varanasi tower, Raj Ghat – The place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Humayun Tomb – Beautiful example of the Mughal Era designed by the widow of Emperor Humayun Hamina Banu Begam in 1565 AD. This is a UNESCO heritage site.
After lunch, continue our sightseeing tour of Old Delhi – the former centre of Mughal Power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Visit Jama Masjid – completed in 1648 AD by the Shah Jahan who also constructed magnificent Taj Mahal, Red Fort (UNESCO heritage) – completed in 1648.
Drive past the stately government buildings including the India Gate & the Presidential Palace. Overnight stay at hotel.
30th Oct 2016 (Sun): Delhi – Varanasi (AI 406 – 1015 / 1145 hrs)
After breakfast transfer to the airport to board our flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival at the airport we will be met by our representative at the airport and will escort us to our hotel.
In the evening we will be taken for a boat ride on the River Ganges to witness the evening prayer offered to holy river Ganges. Today is also Diwali/Deepavali, festival of light, celebrated by Hindus around the world. Later in the evening we will enjoy the Diwali/Deepavali festive dinner celebration. Overnight stay at hotel.
31st Oct 2016 (Mon): Varanasi
After breakfast, an excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining the godly power. Visit the ruins of Sarnath. On the way back to Varanasi we will be visit the famous temple. The Durga temple dedicated to goddess Durga (Interestingly the Durga Temple is also known as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys found in the Temple premises). Also visit the Banaras Hindu University. Overnight stay at hotel.
01st Nov 2016 (Tue): Varanasi – Khajuraho (9W 2423 – 1240 / 1335 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board our flight to Khajuraho – in the city of love and romance. Tour representative will be at the airport to provide assistance upon arrival at Khajuraho and transfer to your hotel.
After check in, visit the most significant and charming Western group of temples and Eastern group of temples, which consists of 3 Hindu, and 3 Jain temples. UNESCO has affirmed the temples of Khajuraho a ‘world heritage’ site in order to conserve the rich inheritance of structural design, leave to future generations by the Kings of the Chandela family. Here we will see the Kamasutra carvings and in evening we have an option of enjoying the Light and Sound Show. Overnight stay at hotel.
02nd Nov 2016 (Wed): Khajuraho – Orchha (178 kms / 3.5 hrs) – Jhansi (17 kms)
Jhansi – Agra (Shatabdi Express – 1845 / 2110 hrs)
After early breakfast, we will drive to Orchha village where, visit Jehangir Mahal which is one of the most remarkable architecture of Orchha. It was built by Raja Bir Singh to honor the visit of Jehangir to Orchha. The architecture bears an Islamic touch. Also visit Raj Parveen Mahal built by king Indramani in the 17th century for his love to Poetess Parveen who was gifted with extraordinary talent. Chaturbhuj temple built in the year 1558-1573 is placed on big stone formation. Laxminarayan temple is also worth to be seen .
Following sightseeing transfer to the Jhansi train station to board our train to Agra. Tour representative will meet us upon arrival in Agra and transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
03rd Nov 2016 (Thu): Agra
After breakfast, we will visit Taj Mahal “Monument of Love” one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO protected site, surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj is at its most alluring in the relative quiet of early morning, shrouded in mists and bathed with a soft red glow. As its vast marble surfaces fall into shadow or reflect the sun, its color changes, from soft grey and yellow to pearly cream and dazzling white; it’s well worth visiting at different times. This play of light is an important decorative device, symbolically implying the presence of Allah, who is never represented in anthropomorphic form.
We will also enjoy the Tonga Ride to the most beautiful monument in the world.
Later we will visit the UNESCO Agra Fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.
At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), hall of red-sandstone with inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. In the evening we will attend a Kalakriti Show. Overnight stay at hotel.
04th Nov 2016 (Fri): Agra –Mathura (40 kms)
Mathura – Ranthambhore (Kota Shatabdi – 1520 / 1802 hrs)
After breakfast, we will drive to Mathura.
Mathura is little town lying near to Yumana river where Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and a Hindu epic hero was born in the Dwapara Yuga. Every year numerous number of Hindu and foreigner tourist visit this place. There are other spots in the area that still remembered by people for the enchantment of Lord Krishan and still you can feel the redolent with the music of his flute.
In the afternoon, transfer to the train station to board our train to Ranthambhore. On arrival at the Sawai Madhopur train station, our representative will transfer us to our pre booked jungle resort. Overnight stay in a Ranthambhore hotel.
05th Nov 2016 (Sat): Ranthambhore
Early Morning and afternoon jungle safari Ranthambhore is one of the few preserves where nocturnal, camera-shy tigers may be seen in day light. You’ll enjoy thrilling game drives in search of wildlife in the early morning and evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
06th Nov 2016 (Sun): Ranthambhore – Jaipur (180 kms / 03 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, it is the capital city of Rajasthan and also known as Pink city. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Jaipur is famous for its gems and jewellery other than the monuments and forts. Afternoon is free to explore the market of Jaipur and shop for the souvenir of Rajasthan. Evening we will enjoy your dinner with Rajasthani dance at Chokhi Dhani (cultural village). Overnight stay at hotel .
07th Nov 2016 (Mon): Jaipur
After an early breakfast, go for an excursion to Amer fort located atop the Aravali hills, it was the ancient capital of Jaipur. We ascend to the fort in a royal style by riding on the Elephant. Amber fort is constructed of white and red sandstone .It is a blend of both the Hindu and Muslim style of ornamentation when we look the interiors of the fort which are designed with murals and frescoes which describes the daily errand.
Later we proceed to visit the UNESCO Jantar Mantar – the Observatory which reflects how excellent the astronomy was in the 17th century. It was made by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 A.D. The magnitudes of precision about the position of stars, latitudes, longitudes azimuths or even calculating eclipses are brilliant. Next to the observatory is City Palace, one wing of the palace has been converted into museum which houses the collection of artillery and textiles. In other wing it is the residence of the former Maharaja of Jaipur. Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds is another amazing building; originally Hawa Mahal was built to enable the ladies of the royal families to watch the everyday life and processions of the city. 08th Nov 2016 (Tue): Jaipur – Pushkar (180 kms / 03 hrs) 1st day Pushkar Fair
Afer breakfast, morning, drive to Pushkar. Pushkar is the pious religious city of Hindus holding the only Brahma Temple in world. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Later take sightseeing of the Brahma Temple and the Ghat. Pushkar is also famous for the colourful cattle fair which include all the variety of camels. Rest of the day is free to explore the local colourful market of the Pushkar Fair. Overnight is at the hotel in Pushkar.
09th Nov 2016 (Wed): Pushkar, 2nd day Pushkar Fair
After breakfast visit and explore the one of Asia’s largest cattle and camel fairs. Local herdsmen and farmers from neighboring villages and states come to buy and sell their camels, horses and local breeds of cattle. During this time, the Pushkar comes lively with colours, sound and very Indian aroma. You can see the very impressive dress ups of local people here, men with large moustaches, big colourful turbans, and rings in ears, necks and ankles. While women will be wearing colour full dresses embroided with the mirror and colourful thread works accompanying with heavy jewellery in forehead, arms, neck and ankles. Overnight stay at hotel.
10th Nov 2016 (Thurs): Pushkar – Jaipur (145 Kms / 03 Hrs)
After breakfast free time to explore Pushkar Fair, see the ‘pop up’ markets and bazaars. Later in the afternoon drive to Jaipur. Check into hotel and explore local markets around Jaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel.
11th Nov 2016 (Fri): Jaipur – Mumbai (9W 2383 – 0820 / 1010 hrs)
Mumbai – Goa (9W 475 – 1115 / 1230 hrs)
Following early breakfast, transfer to the Jaipur airport to board your flight to Goa via Mumbai. Tour representative will meet us upon arrival in Goa and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure for your independent activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
12th Nov 2016 (Sat): Goa
After breakfast, proceed towards a beautiful eye catching view of the Mandovi river meeting the king size Arabian Sea. Later drive towards Se Cathedral, one of the largest church bulid during the Portuguese era in Asia, located at Old Goa, also known for it’s one of the largest golden Bell in the world. Then visit the world most renowned place, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, where the mummified body of the patron saint of Goa, St. Francis Xavier is rested.
After recalling the Portuguese times, we pay a visit at the temple of Shri Mangueshi or Shri Mhalasa temple located at Ponda. Here, our guide will brief you about their history as you walk past through the sculptures and artifacts. Overnight stay at hotel.
13th Nov 2016 (Sun): Goa
Day is at leisure to enjoy the spectacular beaches of Goa. Overnight stay at hotel.
14th Nov 2016 (Mon): Goa – Mumbai (AI 664 – 1525 / 1655 hrs)

Following a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the Goa airport to connect your flight through Mumbai / Delhi for your onward connection.
End of a memorable and enjoyable trip to India….. As we say in Tamil, not goodbye but ‘go and come back’.
